July 3 & 4 2010

Saturday, 11a-9p

Sunday, 11a-7p

The Floyd Fandango is the coolest July 4th event in the region! Celebrating Independence Day the Independent way! - Whether your choice is a cold microbrew or a fine Virginia wine, the Floyd Fandango has the best of both, all yours for the sampling at our beautiful 80 acre Blue Ridge Parkway venue.

Winemaking has long been a part of Virginia's history, and in recent years the state has become a forerunner in both quality and production. Stroll beneath a huge covered tent hosting the Appalachian region's award-winning wineries, all sampling out their best vintages and offering an opportunity to taste, learn and supplement your wine collection.

The craft beer industry is part of the very bedrock of our national heritage and its recent upturn in popularity seems to bespeak a trend back to that level of quality and craftsmanship. See what it's all about as we bring together the best regional breweries (plus your favorite National ones!), all sampling out their finest flavors- from ales to porters, pilsners to stouts- for your tasting and learning pleasure.

And what's more, the Floyd Fandango features a stellar entertainment roster, which this year includes Sam Bush and Goose Creek Symphony, on the beautiful timber framed Dreaming Creek stage. .. plus children's entertainment, overnight camping, unique art and crafts vendors, delicious food and incredible mountain scenery.

Located at mile marker 170.5 near the mountain town of Floyd, Virginia, the Floyd Fandango delivers unbeatable Fourth-of-July entertainment!
